Who are you and what is your role?
I am Tammy Amstutz and I work with the excelerator Highbar Enterprises as a Small Business and Startup Strategist. I do all things Startup, from inception to market.
What problem(s) did you face with your startup Lexstylesbefore working with us and using our service?
Before discovering Koridor the main problem we had was a disconnect between the pain points we saw in an industry, the tech stack we saw that could fix it, and the actual development of the platform. There’s always a disconnect between what we saw as a solution and what ended up being developed by the team.
What made our company a good fit for your startup vs working with traditional developers?
So us having to understand the development process was always a weak point for us. It was a weak spot as we weren’t able to understand the best way to build a database for our business case and it was hard for us to continue to translate that for us to keep projects on track. We didn’t know when a project was going sideways because we are not developers and being able to work with Koridor has helped to alleviate all that risk and provide a lot of ease for us as we see the project move along. I feel like every time we move the project moving closer to the target not farther away. Previous companies have felt like we’re just not hitting the target and we couldn’t figure out how to hone in on it.
Specifically, what is the best thing about Koridor ?
So the best thing about Koridor is that, as a project manager for a ton of small startup initiatives with a lot of goals that we’re trying to meet.. Koridor felt from the get-go like they were part of our team. Some days I’m integrated with Koridor more than my own team as we’re working on getting our products to market. Having that one-on-one attention from them has really made a difference in the success of our products moving forward.
I can pick up the phone and call the partners I can pick up the phone and call the marketing team I can pick up the phone or hop on Slack and chat with the developers and having that I’m looking forward to the Koridor solution really start to catch on with businesses yeah I’m excited for the things to come
Who do you think would be an ideal fit to use our service?
A great fit for the Koridor solution is going to be a company that needs to get to market fast and needs to get to market for a fraction of the price that they’re seeing elsewhere. Being able to go from inception and on boarding to launch, in less than three months is unheard of and what Koridor can do in this space is lean, effective and unlike anything I’ve seen.
So getting to market fast, and under budget is what Koridor does well.

What did you love about working with koridor and how has it made your startup process easier?
What I love most about working with Koridor is we have access to an entire suite of services. So whether we need help with the website design, designing an email with our branding, getting our ui/ux input on our website or even asking about a feature set that we maybe hadn’t considered.
We have a fractional CTO, we have a product manager, we have a design team at our disposal throughout the course of a project. And again it’s really created a lot of success for getting to market.
What feels like a white glove service at every turn, it’s probably made me spoiled, but I am so thankful that we’ve got Koridor to help us with our development.
Do you have a story of success that wouldn’t have been possible for your startup without Koridor?
A story of success we’re finding with Koridor was when we had a product that was not being developed the way we had envisioned it. On paper everything lined up but when we got in it and started to experience the application it wasn’t what we hoped for. This ended up setting us back four or five months from when we had hoped to launch.
So a success is being able to pull Koridor in, or being pulled in by Koridor, to go from design to an anticipated launch in half the time that we’ve been spinning our tires trying to get our product out.
Why did you choose Koridor?
I can pick up the phone and call the partners, I can pick up the phone and call the marketing team, I can pick up the phone or hop on Slack and chat with the developers! With having all that, I’m looking forward to the Koridor solution really starting to catch on with startups. I’m excited for the things to come!
We hope you enjoyed this client testimonial with Tammy from Highbar Enterprises as much as we did!
